When the Define Name window appears, enter a descriptive name for the range. The name can be up to 255 characters in length. In this example, we've entered Order_ID as the name for the range.
Then in the 'Refers to' box, enter the range of cells that the name applies to. In this example, the range is automatically set to
=Sheet1!$A:$A

Hi
I'm trying to create a dashboard for the company I work with to display all the analytics of app downloads. I've tried doing this in my original Excel 07 but after watching several YouTube videos it looks like I'll need to do it on Excel 2011.
I downloaded my free trial but I can't find the slicer button anywhere on the mac 2011 version. Some Google searches said that the slicer function dosen't exist on macs. Is this true? If it is, how can I still achieve the slicer effect with my mac? Or will I have to use a PC or install windows onto my mac?
Thanks
